The nuclear issues we're facing are coming to a head, what that means for the planet remains to be seen.  Find out more about it all step-by-step:
 
STEP 1 EDUCATE & SAFEGUARD
South Korea is officially not playing around with Japan anymore about radiation OR the Olympics:
Meanwhile the recent nuclear “incident” in Russia just gets weirder and weirder by the day.  Blaming #Fukushima fish for radioisotope detection instead of admitting the truth?

STEP 2 EVACUATE #FUKUSHIMA NOW
While we applaud the need to step up relief efforts for moms in #Fukushima, stopping medical testing altogether just 8 years later seems premature to say the least!

STEP 3 CONTROL & CONTAIN
At least one nuclear Greenpeace specialist agrees with us, not all places in #Fukushima are safe for the 2020 Olympic Games:

STEP 4 NUCLEAR POWER IS OVER
Isn’t it ironic that while tourists are flocking to nuclear sites like #Chernobyl for their vacations, kids from the region are going anyplace but there for theirs:

Educating our circles about #Fukushima and #Chernobyl is a good start but what about the other nuclear disasters they’ve never heard of?  Check out this report about the Kyshtym disaster and inform everyone that there is a pattern in place when these things happen - a pattern that we have to break:

If there's any hope for the future, we have to act now and show the next generations how to follow suit, step-by-step:
 
STEP 1 EDUCATE & SAFEGUARD
Radioactive waste water at #FukushimaDaiichi needs to go somewhere but local Japanese fishermen agree with South Korea, don’t dump it into the sea just yet!

STEP 2 EVACUATE #FUKUSHIMA NOW
To the people in Aomori Prefecture, learn the lesson that the people of #Fukushima had to learn already, DON’T TRUST TEPCO!

STEP 3 CONTROL & CONTAIN
TEPCO can pay it’s shareholders but it can’t pay compensation to families of workers who’ve gotten sick at the Daiichi site, shameful:

STEP 4 NUCLEAR POWER IS OVER
Cost vs. demand, that’s where nuclear energy is ultimately failing and will continue to do so as long as we say so:

STEP 1 EDUCATE & SAFEGUARD
We’ve been talking about the radioactive waste water at #FukushimaDaiichi for YEARS and now it looks like there’s only 3 years left before we reach the breaking point:

STEP 2 EVACUATE #FUKUSHIMA NOW
Another step in the ‘everything’s fine’ narrative in #FukushimaDaiichi is on the farming front.  Notice how the calf in the article’s picture is reluctant to be a part of the propaganda:

STEP 3 CONTROL & CONTAIN
Piece by piece, the entire site at #FukushimaDaiichi needs to be disassembled.  This smoke stack is just the beginning:

Someone needs to remind Russia that it’s 2019 not 1986.  Covering up ANY kind of radiation release in the age of TMZ isn’t going to fly:

Know your environment!  If you live downwind of ANY nuclear facility and there’s a fire like the one in Idaho recently, get out of the area because whether they say so or not, you can count on it being at LEAST a level 2 ’nuclear incident’ with some smoke dispersal that is not good for you or your family!

With the #TEPCO2020 Olympic Games just around the corner, it’s important to remember that just because you can reopen beach front property near the area, doesn’t mean that you SHOULD:

STEP 2 EVACUATE #FUKUSHIMA NOW
Moms in Kyoto are reaching out in a relief effort to kids in the effected areas around #FukushimaDaiichi. Send a donation if you can to their cause at http://minasora.org/:

STEP 3 CONTROL & CONTAIN
Eventually the entirety of reactors 1-4 will have to be scrapped but you have to start somewhere at #FukushimaDaiichi:

STEP 4 NUCLEAR POWER IS OVER
Ukraine is the 7th largest producer of nuclear energy in the world but with a track record of safety that STARTS with #Chernobyl, maybe it should find another way:

HEY #FUKUFIGHTERS!
The specter of a renewed Cold War arms race looms larger than ever now that the INF treaty has lapsed between Russia and the U.S.  Understanding this part of the nuclear equation is just as important as knowing how nuclear energy works and both must be dismantled entirely if we’re gong to have a future together at all.
